Chicory is a perennial herbaceous plants, sit and cluster type, average height 80cm in leaf stage, average of 170cm in stem put forth and flowering period ,some can reach 200cm, blade number is 25-38, Blade length is 30-46cm, 8-12cm wide, having white milk after broken . Seeds is cuneate shape, 1000-seeds weight is1.2 to 1.5 grams. Properly managed, a plant can use continuously 8 years or so.
